Good Morning! 55F @ 9:15AM. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 62F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Off in a few minutes to attend a county board of supervisors meeting where the fate of the local fire station will be determined. As a civic minded citizen, I figure it's my duty to remind them who pays their paycheck, and that cutting critical support services just might land them in the middle of a recall campaign.

Planning to leave a bit earlier than needed, as a head-on collision south of there has the highway closed and traffic backed up in both directions.

Rain stopped today about 2:30 almost eight inches of rain pond over top of overflow pipe water still pouring off mountain dry for next few days
