this engine has had rings and assorted related parts put into this last spring by previous owner , when I bought it ..I drove it to the back yard and it was a . sweet running tractor. the only thing I noticed was the older Diesel runs a bit noisy compared to a mid 90s
the issue is when I pull foreword the throttle lever to start that is on the right side half way or all the way foreword then let go of the throttle it will snap back foreword like it has a spring on it. the throttle should stay put where i leave it.... since there seems to have spring tension on it drawing it back could there be a spring missing that would counter on the throttle lever
