Wagtail, my stihls have always treated me well. I do 8-10 chords a year with felling, limbing, and cut to length and they never miss a beat. I hold no grudges against any other brands, I just have an old school mentality of, if it works, use it, and so don't like change. Lol

I can understand that mindset!

I'm currently working in Internet Security as a Shift Supervisor for NTT Security. But I have my few acres at home, on a mountain, in the woods, away from society. LOL And that's where I continue to use my hands and get dirty. I was blue collar before USMC and don't ever want to give it up. But $$ is all I need from my job, not satisfaction. It's called work for a reason. My home is my heaven where I do what I want.

I agree completely about the work. I am glad that I bought a hobby farm after I retired, retired for the same reason.

Did you get your IT training while serving. I was trained in IT after my C130 days and continued it after I retired. Nice $$$ in IT.

Yes got my training while serving. I could barely turn a computer on before I joined. lol Def nice $$ in IT, better $$ in management.

I know what you mean about mgmt. $$$. As the head of Systems at an engineering firm, I did most of my work at the office but I still traveled for meetings before, during, and after projects as well as for major startups or major problems.
