We use class II steel cans made by Eagle. We have about 8 of these and some have been in used for over 8 years. We use them daily for 4 months and they live a fairy rough life but we've seen almost no failures among them.. They drain via 7/8th flexible tube and funny, we found all the smaller sized ones drain to slowly for us. I liked them so well I bought one for home use.

With my smaller tractors, I used 3 NATO Jerry 5 gal. safety cans similar to these:

5 Gallon (2 Liter) (Red) Steel Wavian Jerry Can (Spout Included) | Jerry Can

They worked fine and had no spillage. They are heavy and quite pricey though. With the larger fuel tanks on the L and M series Kubotas, my aging back got tired of hoisting those 40+ lb. cans up on the FEL arm for fueling. It takes all 3 cans to fill the tank on my MX. I rummaged around in the junk pile and found an old 25 gal ag sprayer tank and a hand crank pump off a 55 gal oil drum. With some rebar and a few hours work, I came up with this plumbers nightmare.

Ok, I hear you laughing. Hey, I had the stuff lying around! I originally planned on improving the design but I've been using the darn thing for 10+ years now and never got around to doing it. I used to haul it in my pickup and get off road diesel fuel but the low profile ag tank allows me to drain home heating oil from my basement storage tank.

I've found another one to consider since price doesn't matter. I believe this one is better than any of the others recommended. ......Titan 99 Transfer Pump

You can get the same pump different name for around 120 to 150 bucks. I have one on my bigger tank and when I bought it the cost was 129.00. It also pumps 8 GPM.

Where can I get one for around $120?
