LOL. Sometimes things DO indeed go for very cheap. We've done this kind of thing for all our products almost monthly for a nearly a decade.

We've found it is much less expensive than spending $5,000 on a magazine ad, and far more effective because it gets product into people's hands where, if the product is good (and our engineers do a really nice job), then word-of-mouth spreads.

We once bought a billboard for around $6,000 a month and it was a tremendous waste of money. It's amazing how much you can spend on marketing in a very short period of time without little idea of what the ROI is.
