Good evening all. 50F this morning, calm wind, clear sky. Wind was light today, sky clear and temp warmed to 76F. Rode bike this morning, helped with Medal of Honor dinner this afternoon and evening.

My phones are AT&T which sux, Sprint has never been good here. Verizon Tower less than half mile shows best signal, but TMobile was close with a better plan.

farm diesel tank just ran out, 14 months on 250 gallons, price sure shot up, this time 1.89 for red diesel delivered vs 1.39 for the initial tank bought at apparently
the market low. Only one supplier in the area. Usage about what I expected. Hmmm, better go find the key for the lock on the tank...

I only paid $4.45/gal for red in Jan.

Good morning all. The last thing I saw on a computer screen before shutting it off for the day yesterday was a spreadsheet showing this years lambing rate (how many lambs born per ewe). Somehow my dreams mixed that up with other engineering things, causing me to wake up in the night in a Eureka moment (makes a change from only waking to take a leak ). Very satisfying to find an idea gifted by sleep. I was still wide awake an hour later when a neighbor's donkey started braying to tell everyone to get up and enjoy yet another new day.

Well Carol, the good thought I had in my sleep came to me for nothing, so if I can make anything from it my good deed will have to be to donate the proceeds to charity.

David, that's quite the antenna. Sounds like your plan is working out.

Will run the chainsaw some today...need to cut some more brush. Then string trimmer to clean up around some apple trees where the mower can't go. Then the mower's turn if the wind's not too bad.
