Working a steep hillside

Hills always appear less-steep in videos and pictures. As someone else mentioned, watch the entire video. There's a good shot of the hill from the side and shows better how steep it is, and how long it is. That's a lot of hillside to be working 6-8' at a swipe.

I watched the whole video just didn't seem too steep to run a tractor on

That hillside was plenty steep - not going to catch me running my tractor horizontally on anything like that. Land must be at a premium, wherever that is. It not just the cultivating but the planting, embedding the seed and harvesting that will be difficult also.

I reckon I would not have much trouble operating the tractor, but about one pass up and down that steep hill with the cultivator would have done me in. I sure hope those guys traded off jobs once in a while, and the guy operating the cultivator had the bad end of it.
