The storm coming is a NE Storm riptides no worries for you Thomas in deep do do I'm afraid. The alarmist in the weather world are at it again but winter in the mid Atlantic has been on vacation and will continue to do so.

Yeah...glad I left my snow blower on the tractor.
Forecast is a bit fluid...8-12 inches one day, 5-8 the next day. The latest (this morning) was 8-12 on Tuesday and another 5 or so inches on Wednesday.

Boy, really cold this morning! Still in single digits here (around 5 or 6 degrees, plus a bit of wind. My dump run is done, so no need to go outside again

went downtown on a short run and picked up several cut off blades plus a rolling pin. Thought I had one of the latter for making a pie tomorrow but remembered the old one fell apart, handle broke, and it wasn't replaced. Hopefully the pie will not mind if I roll out the dough on a cheap wooden Chinese rolling pin, all the store had. Rolling pins would make a good craft project, using hard maple perhaps, nice simple wood lathe project.

and in anticipation of the coming crummy cold weather, going out to mow the nut orchard. The rye grass in there is growing like mad, due to so much warm weather here. I watered the orchard yesterday but the rest of the permanent grass planted in there won't come in likely until after this rainy weather.

Good morning! 62˚ 80% chance of rain. I'm enjoying a new recipe brownie this morning. No sugar, no oil, no eggs, no flour. Just sweet potato, ground oats, cocoa, dates. The icing is 4 blended dates and a banana.

Well, good thing I'm in Texas and Dear Wife is home in Oklahoma.
I was home last weekend and took the boat out. Story short version...
She found the trailer hitch ball I forgot to remove with her kneecap (she's short & truck's tall) on the back of the pickup.
Whew! I thought the phone was going to melt!!!

66°F and no rain
Got some mowing in yesterday.
Got the ground wiring cleaned up for the new solar panels. All the support legs are finished, 20 adjustable legs on the angled strings. Doubt if I make many adjustments unless I find a cost effective method to measure the results. Generator hasn't run in a week so quite happy with the output and batteries.

Beautiful day in the south 63 a little breezy at times but perfect convertable weather. Wife and I went to some shops in Georgetown ate wonderful lunch now watching BB Ball. Great end of a beautiful day. God puts days like these for us to enjoy and enjoy we did

Good evening all. 54F this morning, nice rain in the forecast for late afternoon. Wunderground says it got up to 68F here but only got to 60F at Sulphur Springs. wind was on the strong side at 12-18mph. 59 mile ride went well last 1/3 of ride had those head winds and that really kills the fun .

26° just issued winter storm watch for Monday night.
I cleared out more stuff in the woods today. Almost done. Took ratchet rake off. Gotta get more diesel tomorrow.
