Yeah. I built the little HF 40" x 48" trailer (photo) (another photo) to use as a Jeep trailer for camping. At 150 lbs empty I can unhitch and turn it around by hand if I've started down some deer trail that got too steep to proceed. (Backing it up something that is steep, narrow, and has a severe side slope is impossible).I was taught to adjust tire pressure for load...
Empty, I run 20 psi and loaded 35 psi.
Makes a huge difference and never had any tire issues... there is a psi for max load and one less for lighter weight.
That might be a Super Duty but he needed an Extreme DutyPassed this guy a minute or two before I had to turn, so when I did I stopped to snap this picture. The bed was full of metal, as was the trailer...probably on the way to the scrap yard. The hitch was almost on the pavement. Sorry it's a little blurry...he was moving right along.
I have had 3,000 lbs of wood pellets in the bed of my 2001 F-250 and it did not look as bad as that.
