Excellent!!! Accomplished two things at once. Hooks and extreme reinforcement to the top lip of the bucket!!!

Shaneard I suggest you run a bead of caulking between the welds. So water won't get under the plate.

The clevis can go either way and be put in backwards to get it out of the way.

The other advantage is when it is in backwards and a chain down behind the bucket, you get maximum lift.

Oh here's the 5/16" hook and plate I cut off. Forgot to get picture before. This is part of why top lip was bent. IMG_3377.JPG

Agreed and heat it up and dry it thoroughly before you seal it.

Does anyone have pics of how to deal with the lip issue of the Kubota buckets? While I've got no problem ordering Kenny's Bolt-on hooks for the Kubota....I was just wondering if anyone's got a quick and easy way to attach grab hooks that don't rub over the lip. (And Kenny - over 50 bucks to ship to Canada? Wow!)

Over $50? Who said that? The website (in the FAQ section) states $43.95usd for up to 20 pounds of product in a USPS medium flat rate box-this is what they charge, I do not profit from that. Unfortunately this is the cheapest way, I wish there was a better option for our brothers to the North.
*edit* I guess in Canadian dollars it is over $50.00

If you can weld, know someone that does, or can have it done locally then using a piece of angle iron to "box" the lip is a great solution, and it makes it very strong too.

Here is a great pic from a TBN member (and customer):

Kenny...I know it's not you charging the $43.95, but the freight/post people. I was just busting your ball$ A bit. Glad to see you pay attentin to the forums. If I can't get a welding guy to do a good work-around, I'm giving you a call, alright?
