Has anyone done a swap out of the cab dual spot lights for a single 30in or 50in LED light bar?

Haven't considered going to a single bar but I have considered going for swapping them for 10 or 12in ones on each side. I just don't know that its worth my while, I don't do much work after dark.

I have not swapped them but have added LED light bars F&R. I made brackets mounted to the mirror mount arms to hold them. Also added flashing strobes F&R and an LED electronic strobe on top. Reflective tape added to the sides too. I like to be seen at night, dusk, or dawn.
Added a tool box on the back.

Yes, its sail blue. All I could find at the time. Slightly darker than LS blue.

For those wondering about LED light bars, A couple days ago I was out plowing at 0430 in pitch black. I saw the highway plow truck coming from a half mile away while I was out in the road turning around. When they got up to my house they actually stopped. One of the guys got out of the truck and came over to compliment me on all the lights. From a half mile away they thought there was an accident with the bright lights and flashers and thought I was a tow truck or other emergency vehicle picking up a vehicle since from their view it looked like daylight where I was.

Thinking about doing the same... swapping all four halogen work lights for LED bars, 8 to 12 inch each. They should be a lower watt than the halogens so I figure I can just use the stock wiring and switches.

I put two LED's facing forward and two backwards and it has made a huge difference in the usability and enjoyment of working in the dark.

Haven't invested in flashers as I never go near a public road but I like George's setup.

You can for sure use the stock wiring for the rear work light. On my tractor that circuit is 10A if I remember right. All 4 of my lights turned on together are 8A.

There was a spot on my fuse panel labelled "high light" that apparently was spare and not used so I wired my "high" foward/backward lights to that ... that circuit was 15A so I still have room to replace my rear work light with a LED without causing any current problems.

It was funny, I discovered the spare fuze was called "high light" after the fact. I had taken the plastic cover off that said this before I started the project. The manual just says "spare". When I was putting it all back together I put the cover on the fuze box and noticed the "high light" label on it and was like "man, that worked out well".

I put all this stuff on because I am on the road. I plow out several neighbors.

The LED amber strobes were cheap. Under $25 for 6 lights with 3 different flash modes

The 240 LED roof top strobe was also cheap at under $30. I also bought one for my truck.
