Oh Lord listen to some of you clowns. Most half tons are perfectly capable of handling a CUT and a couple of implements without issue...assuming you're smart about it and use a WD hitch and what not. My 2016 F150 with max tow and the 3.5EB has handled up to 9k loads just fine and I wouldn't hesitate to let it yank around the ~11k it's rated for (even with beer can body my truck still weighs 6k with me, full fuel, and ~300lbs of gear in the bed). Trailer has brakes on both 5.2k axles so braking isn't an issue. Having said all of that I would make a habit of towing long distances with that much weight...that's where a 3/4 ton and up with heavier duty everything would be a better choice for long term reliability. And for what it's worth before I bought my own trailer I borrowed a buddy's one time and with ~7k behind me the trailer brakes either failed or just sucked (only one axle had brakes) and between my truck's brakes and downshifting it stopped adequately...not something I'd want to make a habit of but it stopped the load and no way would I get out on the highway under such conditions.
Load the trailer properly, secure the load properly, hitch it to the truck properly, and drive like a momma with a newborn in the backseat and you'll be fine.
