Good morning!!!!

Good morning. The rain stopped last night and skies cleared in time to give us another frost this morning. With next to no wind, a hot air balloon is ever so slowly making it's way over. The dog can see it from the landing window and is doing his best to get it to turn back.

Hawkeye, pleased to hear it all worked out.

Do the British still make sports cars that sound the part, Eric?
I am probably not the best person to give an opinion on that as I have only had one other ride in an Aston Martin and that was quite a while ago in a restored DB2. The lift I got the other night was for only a short ride, although it was hard not to notice the gurgle and rumble from the engine while maneuvering in the car park, then a good throaty yet restrained roar as it was asked to get a move on into the traffic. Suspension and seats were a lot more butt friendly than what I remember of old.

46 going to 67 today, clear weather until Sunday or Monday, then this dry spell seems to be about to change.
Making good progress on outside projects, getting them done in the nice weather. Last project is taking the 16 foot pole pruner out and
trim some trees, really need my helper for that.

I never knew golf balls had that effect. Fore!

Sorry Eric, drive that Aston Martin out the door and immediately lose almost a hundred thousand. Expensive mistress....
These British gals are expensive!
Kind of car you want a friend to own and let you drive, like neighbors with a pool.
for that kind of money I'd buy a Porsche Carrera Turbo S which actually holds its value pretty well.
If you wanted to pay for a car what many of us pay for a house...
Those are lottery ticket cars.

inside this morning, waiting for ride to get new car. A humbly built dark blue Subaru whose seats are made
with ecologically pure soy protein, or something....something Aston Martin hasn't discovered yet I believe.
Frankly, I would prefer Connolloy leather than soy protein...

Need to pay bills, put away laundry, the boring stuff. Living alone, I need to
continuously remind myself, pick it up, no one else here is going to do it...

It's FRIDAY Thomas!

Prayers for all fallen, injured or traumatized veterans.
Most of us just have no idea what getting shot at is like.
Much less having to kill someone.
God Bless our veterans. And may our veterans of other faiths be
blessed by their own Gods.

42 going to 65 and sunny.

For once I got all my items accomplished on yesterday's to-do list. I've finally figured out how to make shorter lists. :)

Don, crazy that music travelled so far...hope it was music you liked.

Salute and thank you to our veterans!

Coffee has finished brewing. 44° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 46° with partly cloudy skies. Winterizing is done. Couple of inside projects today. Then relax while watching leaves fall from trees.
Honor our Veterans today.
Hawkeye, best wishes for your family and grand daughter.
Lenny, not sure a door seal is going to keep mice out of your garage. But it is a good start.
Harvey, got couple dozen golf balls collected from my back lawn. But none with snakes attached.
Drew, new car excitement got you up early? Get a maid for house chores.
Txdon, hate those kind of sounds that come from a long ways away and you cannot turn it off.
Good Morning All.

Please remember and thank our veterans

Eric gotta love Astons drove some back in the summer very cool cars but was really impressed with a two door convertible Mulsane with a V12. The British indeed do make cool cars

Good morning all, 48 going to 61 and sunny, back to frost tonight. Can't believe I have 250 ft of wire in a 20 x 12 shop and not done yet. Grabbed another roll last night on the way to the blacksmith guild meeting. Got there early and chatted with friends, then the meeting and a demo an making a "braided" hinge. One piece of 1/4" plate made to look like it was braided. Hope to get the shop finished today so I can call in for the rough in inspection.

Thanks to all of you vets. Can't even guess the price some of you pay every day.

Have a great day. Ed

opened my water bill and see they are billing me for 1650 gallons used last month, one of my smaller bills, no tree watering helped.
I was wondering how I used almost 60 gallons a day all by myself when I got curious as to what the average American used.
Thinking I was ecologically unsound but wanted to confirm that.
Happily not the case.
Estimates vary, but each person uses about 80-100 gallons of water per day.
So maybe all these 1.0 and 1.6 toilets do help.
Though I really let the hot water shower run and run.
But perhaps not as long as a teenage girl...

Good morning old friends. Long time no see. It's sunny, 40F with 92% humidity at 0700. Forecast high of 75F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 47F tonight. The first patchy frost on the ground this morning. More solid on the car and the roof of the house.

Margie has the day off due to the holiday. Having her around the house will be a preview of what will be happening for real the first of the year. I've already been looking around for a good part time job. For her.

A big salute to all the vets, both here and gone.

You guys have a good one,

Larro
