It will be .429 to .430 in diameter.. (as all .44 magnum bullets are)
As .44 magnum bullets go, it s a pretty heavy one as the standard loads run from 180 grains on the light side to 240 grains being a common bullet weight. This lead bullet has a large meplat and is likely hard cast. it will not expand, but it is not designed to do so. It is a bone smasher and deep penetrator. Just what you would want for dangerous things with fangs. not what you would want for a whitetail. Of course with the heavy weight the muzzle velocity would be much lower.

You would think the 325 gr I posted
Would be slow I use to shoot that tru a crono. And as I remember the we're in the low 1000th . Also I shoot that bullett through a blk.hawk 44 6 inch Barrell at a metal gong at a 100 yards away with iron sights on sand bag and rang the gong. I use to reload with the 240gr no more .

Gas checked as well.
I have a 200gr 35 rem mold coming today for gas checks. it's a FN profile and will have a pretty good meplat as well.
