So we are getting ready to put in some bailed hay in the barn. My hay guy says he has some pallets for me I am thinking I need to lure him in with the promise of taking the hay and then deal with him don't I? He is trying to propagate pallets to my currently pallet free property.

I'm trying to 'get my head around' a property that has no pallets. A domestic/domesticated pallet is a boon to any property and having a few fine specimens on hand for unforeseen situations is a joy.

Your 'hay guy' was being a good neighbour & I certainly wouldn't have refused the offer... unless, of course, the pallets in question were "on their last skids".

There is no guarantee they are domesticated pallets. I think he is just trying to get rid of some of the wild ones he caught on his property!

There's no danger in adding good 'brumby' pallet stock to your "stack". Any competent Pallet Ringer can do it.

If the 'hay guy' was trying to off-load some 'duff' pallets, well, that's a right un-neighbourly thing to do. You just have to look a gift pallet in the slats to determine its age, condition will tell you the rest of its history.

Wow - the disguises are getting more and more clever! Always check your 3,9 and 6 when visiting someone's home. Never know when a pallet will be ready to grab you!

Notice the empty boots infront of the pallet. That pallet has sucked up an unsuspecting gnome and swallowed him.

Are you sure that the pallets haven't coerced the goats to persuade the farmer to put up the pallets in an inverted V position thereby starting their own pallet settlement ????
