Pallets in fields

Due to the size limitation of attachments (which I'm sure was in no way a conspiracy) I was unable to report on a recent phenomena in my own paddocks. This occurrence has duplicated itself every 11 to 13 days in the next adjacent paddock, in a reciprocal 6 paddock pattern!

I swore to myself that I would resist the temptation to continue to reply to this thread... but Wagtail, you have me curious, dang it!

I know! After all of the experiments I conducted (especially those bloody 'double blind' ones that Steve insisted on... it took two months for my hands to heal properly after that, by the way) during [my] Summer, almost a year to the end of them THIS starts to occur.

I think one of my two horses is doing it, and I have my suspicions as to which one, but I've never actually seen him/them do it! And is the other horse directing the first one?

I'm reminded of that documentary "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", could they be building their own 'mashed potato mountain?

Are you sure those are "your horses". They might have body snatched.

They look & act like my guys. Crickey, how would you tell?

Another observation is that once they've assembled(?) the 'Inverted V Pallet Structure', they'll shift it to varying compass points. I've taken a 'line of sight' of these orientations and they point to nothing in particular.

Ask them some questions the answers to which only they would know.

Spotted this afternoon near Battle Ground, WA during a drive back home from the Bay Area and managed to convince the better half to photograph it. A large capture of pallets! Including a high ranking official (the green one?).

That green one is a decoy. The leader is somewhere in the middle.

That is a truly awe inspiring photograph! I'm surprised that any encouragement was required to snap it, although the Pallets in Fields community are grateful that she did.

Did she give you "a LOOK" when you asked?

My plan was to ignore this thread and get on with life but look what I found in the yard last week. It appears to be some sort of robot or drone pallet and has what looks like ventilation slots in the top. It's made of a man made material whose origin cannot be fully confirmed without additional testing. The wife didn't know who put it there. Maybe she's in on the fix?

Lookee here...

Even worse, there appears to be some sort of writing on the side. I'm not sure but it could look like hieroglyphics from the pyramids. :D

That Sir, is definitely an alien pallet! Do not touch it, do not talk to it, and for heavens sake - do not allow your children anywhere near it. It will cause sterility, blindness, and cause you to speak in foreign tongues, i.e. English

That pallet is undoubtedly the result of genetic modification. Don't let it breed or the company that holds the patent will slap you with a lawsuit.

That is a nice specimen. I would like to have that one!

Great days in the morning! K0ua has well over 21,000 posts.
Way to go K0ua!!!

You spent some of those posts advising me on a welder. That was a good thing. :)

Don't know if this is the best place to ask this, but couldn't find a better place.

I have noticed over the past few years that the local farm fields get populated with a pair of pallets leaned up against each other to form a inverted V shape. they are always out near the middle of the field, in a line, and about 500 to 700 feet apart.

Now during the Spring and Summer they are nowhere to be seen, and in late Fall they are out there again. As far as I know (not having been out in the middle of these fields) from driving by every day there is nothing out there that needs protection such as a irrigation pipe, so I can not figure out what purpose they serve. No one is out in those fields over the winter to do damage to anything except maybe some one riding their snowmobile if we get measurable snow which is not too common here.

Could someone explain the reason for these? I see them on more than one farm throughout our county.

Just stumbled on this thread. I just want to take a moment to thank sparc for starting this thread with an innocent and honest question. (Had to go back to the beginning to understand the context.) I also want to thank each and every one of you who have contributed your "wisdom and research". I have now been laughing basically non stop for 30 minutes! My dog is wondering what the heck is going on again. He's been doing that a lot lately since I've started frequenting this forum. I'm still dying to know what the certified and bonafide reason is for these strange pallet formations. A google search just brings me right back here in some kind of hilarious, twisted, circular, echo chamber reference loop! Thanks again to all. Now I'll keep my eyes open for those of whom we do not speak.

Snowback,
Most of our observations and speculations are done in the name of scientific research. When you have something to add jump right in.
Tell your dog Stuck said, hey.
