Lots of parkland around the ranch... on 3 sides to be exact.

Just seems less problem with what people can't see... out of sight out of mind.

Have lots of stories with me on the Dozer and getting a visit from park rangers and even the Sheriff asking what I was doing on parkland... of course I was on my land and after explaining all was good.

Strangers with cell phones sure keep law enforcement running around... maybe it is a SF Bay Area thing?

The problem is if you want to go on a cross-country trip (say in your Excursion, Expedition EL, Yukon XL 2500, or full size van) with 7+ people and a camper big enough to sleep all of them, you are out of luck (or you have a severely restricted list of campers).
Most 1 ton trucks under $10k aren't in good enough shape to take cross country without risking major repairs on the side of the road (and even if they were, you you have twice as many engines to feed, you have to split people between vehicles, etc, etc, etc.

The Automated Safety Hitch | Trailer Hitch | Gooseneck Horse Trailers | 5th Wheel RVs | Flatbed Goosenecks | Fifth Wheel works for me and lists sales@safetyhitch.net as the contact, although it looks like safetyhitch.net might just being used for email?

I think your use of most, might be more correct as 'some'.

My 8900$ f350 is like Johnny cash.. Its been everywhere!

As for that cross country trip with your 20 close friends, I'd watch those? 22 states that dont allow doubles!

I was talking about the tow all website, from the video.

I sent email, got no response.

When was the last time you went camper shopping Arron? Our camper sleeps 11 and can easily be pulled behind an excursion. It is technically able to be pulled by a properly set up half ton but I don't own a half ton to try. But when we were shopping for our camper a few years ago there were a lot of models that could easily sleep 7 and be pulled by a half ton vehicle. I've been following a couple manufacturers since and they continue to come out with more and more options. I actually was looking to buy an Excursion to pull my camper instead of the extended cab f250 but couldn't find 1 that met my requirements so I ended up with a crew cab f350 dually with a cap. No third row seat but plenty of storage and seating for 6.

I sure wish I had a picture... but I dont, so just try to follow along.

Took a trip with my wife, and only 2 of the girls, so we take the wife's car. Not something I'm used to driving, don't know the layout of the knobs/controls, etc. It's time to stop for gas, (gasp, gas? I drive a diesel truck, gas goes in cans!) so I ask her which side the filler is on. "Just look at the gauge", she replys. Huh? "That little arrow under the gas pump symbol points to which side the filler is on." Oh... I never noticed, or knew that... "But they all have that, even our trucks, I looked" D@mn, she knows some things about vehicles that I dont, which she gleefully points out as we pull up to the gas pump on the proper side, facing the street the station is located on. I was around to the pump and realize it's one of those electronic buttons/card reader/LCD screen jobs, not one I'm used to, where you flip up the handle, pump what you need, and walk in to pay for my diesel. No, this is a pump that's smarter than me, and I want to pay cash... I fiddle around with it long enough that by the time I get it working the station attendant is coming out to help, and the wife is rolling down the window asking me if I need help... "No..." I growl in reply.... I'm feeling pretty dumb by this point. I pump the gas, and as I finish up, I hear one he!! of a racket, something on the street dragging, everyone at the filling station is craning their necks to look... a small chevy Colorado, 2wd, reg cab, towing a small flat trailer, probably 6'x8', loaded with used kitchen cabinets, naturally with the heavy ones at the back. No tounge weight, and as they travel down the street the latch that hold the deck from tilting come unlatched, and the heavy back load drops the rear to the pavement! I'm sure sparks were flying, as they drug the mess into the lot to deal with it... seeing that sure lightened my step as I walked into pay for my gas! Get back into the car, wife says (referring to the truck/trailer/cabnets fiasco she also saw) "Wonder if he knows what the arrow means?" Thanks honey.

Last time I went camper shopping was many moons ago, no real interest in RVing at the present time, so I mostly listen to the guys at work talking about the ones they looked at.
