Good morning. After another day of continuous rain and an overnight frost we are hoping for a few drier days.

RNG That sounds an interesting journey over the Continental divide - looks appropriate that the road is covered in snow, even if it slows progress a little. Do you tune in to different radio stations along the way, play pre-recorded stuff, or just listen to the engine as you admire the view ?

52F clouds upper 50's for high,clouds starting to roll in rain late afternoon heavy rain during evening.

Another sign of spring just before dark,LARGE flock of geese headed north...still no Robin sighting.

Now I know I'm going to glow green with envy but Billie what do you pick up the crusher run with? A tilt trailer? If so, does it tilt high enough so all the stone comes out?
Or do you have a dump truck...
It's finally dry enough here to get trucks in, quite a switch.

Drewie , I wish I had a dumper. I have a standard 5x10 trailer with sides. Easy to load and haul a cubic yard, but I have to shovel all of it into my loader bucket by hand. I lower the tailgate, ease the FEL bucket up level with the trailer bed, and shovel like a mad man. If I needed more than one or two loads for touch up, I'd have it delivered. Probably will next year.

Already is tick season...I got one last week, and one yesterday.

Heading to southeast Virginia for a meeting today...while there, looking forward to swinging by the farm where I have a couple of game cams to swap out batteries and SD cards.

You're a genius. Just checked our Home Depot website - they have a 6X10 dump trailer, 4500 lbs capacity...$97 for 4 hours, $139 for a daily rental. Will compare this vs getting a load delivered.

56F and light rain @ 07:50 ... calling for a high of 70F with occasional showers.

Got woken up early, left front tire on the van the wife drives was flat ... so I had to go pump it up. Looks like it's a fairly slow leak ... she's sitting down at the tire shop waiting for them to open.

It's the 7th day and still no quote from alarm company no. 2 ...
