LED magnetic mount light bars.

I purchased a thunder eye 27 inch magnetic mount overhead LED light bar for my truck from amazon.Today while going down the road at 55-60 mph a semi passed me and low and behold the light blows of the roof of my truck,holy chit.I managed to get pulled over to check the damage it left.Small dent in the side of my truck plus a few scuff marks that can be rubbed out.Lesson learned I ordered a heavy duty made in the USA whelen lp response light bar.No more china crap light bars for me.

I had the same thing happen almost 50 years ago with a made in the USA fire department issued red light. Magnetic mounts are not as good as a more solid mount. That's what I did, pop riveted it to the roof, no more problems.
