Cranky Posting - Cabin Fever?

I've been cranky for the last 30 years and 10 years before that. That's why I'm here now to vent off all my steam and boycott the Republican debate, there I feel better now.

Go catchin...

Only got two yesterday. We have no snow. The ice froze clear and slick as grease. Kinda spooky. Hard to walk on, too. Windy as heck. But still better than being inside.

Go fishin!
I went ice fishing one time. Buy the time I got the hole in the ice big enough for the boat, I was too worn out to fish! :D

Don't know what you blokes are talking about... well, maybe a wee bit over on the E85 thread but that's been going on for a while.

Oh, right, it's Summer down here. :D

It's just us Yankees..... No worries...... :confused2:

It is not just the Yanks, on some other forums I read there are a large number of Aussies and they seem to be "cranky" too. I think it is because they are always upside down. ;) At least that is my theory and I am sticking with it. :D

I follow a handful of forums including this one, and I will say that TBN has quite a bit more "bickering" and drama than any of the others. I'm really not sure why though. I've also had a fair amount of conversations with a handful of guys on here and they agree that for some strange reason TBN has more of this kind of behavior than other sites.

That is funny because I see the opposite. :confused3: Two of the other websites I visit are of similar minded people, though I expect a bit older than average on TBN, and there is constant bickering over the same danged subjects. :confused3::shocked::eek: A post will pop up and anyone following the sites for awhile will know the discussion is about to be derailed.

I have never put some one on an ignore list on TBN or other website. Until December. In December and January I put three people on my ignore list on one of the other forums. Page down is a pretty good way to ignore someone's posts but it got so bad I had to resort to an ignore list. I have been on the Internet since before Al Gore invented it and never had to "ignore" someone until the last month. :confused3: There was one guy I came close to "ignoring" but he was banned from the site before I had a chance to push the button. From the comments I read, there are other related websites that are far worse bickering wise.

TBN is a bastion of sanity compared to the other sites. :D

Dan, I've never "ignored" anyone. At some point in time I've always read "valuable" posts from those that I might consider "ignoring". So kinda hate to miss that. I just try to deal with it. I also try to use smiley faces to signify that I'm not personally attacking anyone. But sometimes that doesn't help either. I've lost track of the number of times I've apologized for statements I've made during a thread discussion. Part of those apologies were certainly needed because of my behavior. But I hope an equal number of them were needed because of the other poster's behavior. :)

If you ignore someone what happens when someone quotes their post?
