1500 Radiator Overflow Tank

I just purchased a 1500. It doesn't have a overflow tank for the radiator and I don't think it has ever had one. When I fill the radiator up completely it puts coolant out the the overflow for a short period and then stops. Should I add a tank or not?

Well I'm responding to my own post. I thought there would be a 1500 owner respond and at least tell me if a 1500 has an overflow tank or If I should add one. This tractor is all original with the overflow tube is running beside the radiator all the way to the bottom.

Thanks for the reply. The parts list doesn't show a tank so I suppose It will put coolant out till it has enough room in the radiator for expansion.

We had a Ford 1100. It didn't have a coolant recovery tank. It just belched out the extra through the tube onto the ground until there was enough room in the radiator.
