Eric, best I could tell from your pic, it looks like you cut it with a butter knife :).

42 going to 63

Eric I am guessing you used an old fashioned Scythe. Or what we call a "Weed Whacker" Actually Eric even though she weighs twice what the other horses do, she only eats about 10% more. No it is having 2 horses I neither need or want that will drive my feed bill up.

Well I got the tow bar for the wagon built yesterday, and painted the shafts up. Today I will assemble the shafts and wait on the vet to come by. Hope the harness comes soon!

Good morning! 37
Mom called yesterday with news that a new calf was not eating and starving. So I picked it up put it in the pickup took it to th corral and fed it a bottle and put the mother cow with it. While there noticed buzzards by a down cow - another murdered by buzzards Drew.

Hopefully last day using wife's iphon.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 56° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 59° with rain in afternoon. Another try at getting motorhome washed. New service company. But rain may put that off for a few days. Wax job is not going to happen for a while.
Good Morning All.

30 this morning and headed to 36 today. Snow flurries are off to our east, but still pretty windy.

Need to rebait some rodent stations at the chicken coops and then I'll be ready for the audits. Then off to take son to doctor for his post op visit from the tubes. Interesting to see what the doctor says.

Don a lot around here have problems with the black buzzards killing calves before they can standup or the cows while calving. Some even report they are chasing weak or older cows to death. They're reporting them to fish & game in Atlanta. But the Feds aren't believing that they are a problem. Nor do they believe the population numbers. Federally protected birds.

Our farm bureau did secure some tags. But they have a lot of stipulations on them. Don't know how many bothered with the tags.

I do have an old scythe that is a pleasure to use and occasionally cut nettles with it and also to gather grass to feed the odd ewe who needs some tlc.

Not on rushes though, they are a bit too tough for a non-powered tool.

Keep guessing.
