GT 5000 Craftsman and Kubota BX2370
Hi all, new to the forum so thought I'd share what I did.

I reworked two "walk behind" Craftsman snowblowers into one to quick attack to my new Kubota BX2370 front end loader.
The two blowers worked out to a total of 60" wide and have their 10 HP engines running them. I removed the drive wheels and the drive mechanism and built a three wheel center caster to support the rear section with castors and skies on the front. The engines now have 12 volt starters, chute rotation, deflectors and auger engagement all have 12 volt actuators controlled from the cab. The Kubota loader handles the weight great although the blowers will ride on the ground with the tractor just pushing and steering them.

Good engineering but not real efficient running three motors.Sure beats a shovel

First thought - what a redneck, Rube Goldberg project.

Second thought - I could probably do that... hmm? :thumbsup:

The way it works is;
pull the capture pins of the quick attach for the bucket, drop it, go pick up the snowblower insert the capture pins, plug in control box cable, start the motors and blow snow! No belts, drive shaft or bolts to install.

I too need to see that in action.
Will the chutes rotate independently so you can blow the snow left and right at the same time?

Would it be possible to center a hydraulic motor to power both units, just the one pulley each or maybe chain drive? got me thinking now, good luck

Amazing, :thumbsup:looking forward to the vid also. I like the idea that everything is self contained, no hydraulics or hoses, just start the engines and go.

After looking at your pics again, I'm wondering if bigger tires should be used, you know, something like the ones on a wheel barrel etc. Just a thought, might handle the weight better.

Yes I see where you're coming from. They are not shown but there are 3- 10" pneumatic dolly wheels on a swivel castor in between the two blowers approx where the wheels were, which I removed because it could not steer with the original wheels of course. Thanks for your reply! Russie

Thank you ! Yes that was the plan, It is a lot easier and faster than removing the loader and installing the Kubota snowblower with hydraulics, lift kit and drive shaft, just using quick attach system! ( engines are also started and stopped from the cab control.)
