Here's a question, has anyone fabbed up a way to put a BB on a SSQA fel?

Exactly! So just a SSQA blank, some tabs with holes, and some pins (if I want to keep it simple)?

Years ago when I bought my tractor I bought a Land Pride 6 foot rear blade for clearing snow. But I quickly got tired of craning my neck looking back. So I cut the head off the attachment and welded a "socket" onto a cross member that attached to my loader arms as you can see in the picture. On the 3 point section I welded another socket for when I really wanted to use it as a back blade.

The biggest problem with that set-up is no trip springs or anyway to give if (when) you hit a solid object.

Yeah, small driveway and limited plowing area, so i'll be going really slow.

I welded a 3pt Quick Hitch to a SSQA plate & love it. Handy for moving stuff around. I welded up an adapter for a cheap truck plow that fits the Quick hitch hooks & mount it that way. Mounting a 3pt blade of any sort there will work, but will be less than ideal. The truck plow has some side to side tilt built in, which you need.

Used an adapter plate and mounted an old backblade onto it for snowplowing duties. As others mentioned, there is no built-in give to this arrangement, so if you hit something, you'll do one of 3 things: Come to a dead stop in a hurry, break whatever you hit, or break or bend the weakest point on your FEL/blade apparatus. Or any combination of those 3. Know your driveway and go slow.

The steel blade edge is hard on the blacktop sealer, so I took a piece of 6'x6' horse stall mat, cut off a 4" strip, and bolted that onto the blade. Scrapes the driveway clean and doesn't scrape off the blacktop sealer.
