Kioti Clutch Cable

I bought a Kioti RX 6010C last year with 200 hours on it and I'm not happy. I also own a Kubota L3400HST and a Farmtrac 435 and the tractor is not nearly as well made as others I'm used to. The Clutch cable recently broke and I'm waiting for a new one.....only $30 cable but I'm shut down till I get the new cable on. No way a 280 hour tractor should snap a clutch cable. I also have a problem with the tractor getting hot under a load with a 8 ft twin spindle bushog.......even with a clean radiator. It'll cool down quickly after I take the load off it but not acceptable for a 60 HP utility tractor.

So far I'm not a fan on Kioti.......saw where someone else snapped a clutch cable at 300 hours.......better spend a little more and buy Kubota.

Why start two threads with the same issue?If you don,t like your Kioti tractor sell it and move on.After all you bought a used tractor and put a whopping $30 bucks into repairs.I would be jumping up & down joy for a $30 repair.

... so are you actually complaining that you broke a $30 cable on a used tractor you bought? You expect to have no downtime on a tractor? I'm not sure but you might just have some unrealistic expectations. Best to stick with a brand you have confidence in...

I hate all the whiners and brand bashing here, but I would expect ANY clutch operating cable on a tractor of that age to last more than 280 hours regardless of how many owners it has had in that time.
I think the OP has a valid point, and as a parts manager at a Kioti dealership, I'm interested to see if this turns out to be a random failure or an endemic shortfall in part selection on Kioti's part. Right now, I have yet to sell a replacement cable for an NX.
