which ones do LS tractors come with?

That's easy to determine (visually), both the male & fm flat face "face's" of the coupler are flat. What might be a little harder to ffigure out is what type it is if it's not a FFC. Take a number off of the coupler on the tractor and see what you can find on the google machine. I used this to find the couplers on the factory hoses for my f.e.l. that Kubota uses. http://pressurecomponents.com/pdfs/crossreference.pdf

And FWIW, I've never seen FF copulers on a tractors (factory) rear remotes, only sometimes on the loader mounted 3rd function (as they call it) to work with skid steer type attachments that just about universally use FFC's. They make it very easy to clean the coupler prior to hook up and just a tiny bit of dirt/dust entering your hyd. sys. can be very harmfull. They are also at least 2X the cost of the "ag" type one's.

LS Remotes are Ag style and I believe they are 1/2". Will confirm this morning.

They all come standard with 1/2" Pioneer couplers.

Nearly all tractors (including LS) have 1/2 inch Agriculture , also known as Pioneer, also known as , ISO 5675

What is the standard size for Flat-Faced couplers like you find on a skid steer (ISO 16028)? I.E. 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", or 1"?

Are flat faced (almost looks like a point) and Ag (round ball) interchangeable or do both sides have to be the same? Reason I ask is the backhoe I bought but haven't hooked up yet (will soon) has I guess what you guys are calling flat faced female couplers and my LS has the round Ag type? Just wondering if I have to switch the backhoe fitting (backhoe fitting looks like a ISO 7241-1 Series A in that chart posted earlier) ... this will be the first hydraulic implement that I have 'added'.

No, flat face, are flat faced. you are describing poppet style. Which could be ISO 5675 or they could be the ISO-7241 you mentioned
Normally round ball and Poppet style connectors can work together. But Flat face only works with the matching Flat face.

Look at these safeway s20 series.. they are poppet style but will work (most of the time) with round ball AG's

Thanks for educating me on this ... yea, I called it the wrong thing. I looked on the tractor and I have the 'poppet' style on my rear remotes which matches the backhoe.

Since I'm asking dumb questions ... what is the best way to clean the female quick connect ports?

Not dumb at all. WD40 works great for this, flushes out dirt and debris very well.

To my knowledge, all (major) OEM's are currently using poppet style QD's v.s the ball style-and have been for at least 10 years or so. Most are using the ISO 56575 "AG" style, but a few sneak in a ISO 7241 "A" or "B" every now and then, I've been trying to keep the chart on the website current as I can verify models/styles.

Thanks! I was thinking brake cleaner but I see there is a rubber seal in there and I figure that would be a bad idea ... plus I didn't know if some could get past the valve and break down/contaminate the fluid so I've just been using a rag and my finger and doing the best I could but was wanting something I could spray in there and blast the dirt out.

There are many feminine hygiene products on the market... Especially for the quick connect type.

Didn't your tractor come with dust caps for the QD's? Keep the dust caps inserted when not using the QD's. If there is dust or dirt around QD's, when you want use them, use air gun around QD's before pulling the dust caps.

Yes but dirt still finds a way in somehow, especially on the loader. I try to plug the caps together when FEL is connected but they come apart and dirt gets all into the caps too.

Plus, mine is a 2011 so it's not as pretty as yours now.
