Mulching blade for BX 60 inch?

I really need to find some decent mulching blades for my 60 inch fine cut deck.

Does anyone have any part#'s? I usually use the oregon or stens standard blades, but the thatch is killing my yard.

I did a search and cannot seem to find anything.

The dealer told me mulching kits on three blade decks do not work well. I just keep mine sharp and it does ok but not as good as a true mulcher.

If you find some please post the source.

you don't use just mulch blades, there are also baffles. I'd suggest calling our parts dept @ 877-260-3528.

I have Meg-Mo blades on my rear discharge ZT 72" deck and I have next to no discharge anymore. The Meg-MO uses a big metal disc with 4 small pivoting blades attached to it. It double cuts the clippings so they are very small and all but disappear. When I cut with my Kubota side discharge there are always clippings to rake. Might be worth looking into. I ordered them factory direct after seeing them at a trade show.

The factory mulch kit is crap. I got it for my 60P deck. Took it off and now use the Oregon G6 blades. More frequent cuttings will help keep the thatch down. The G6 will leave a very fine clipping, finer than I was getting with the mulch kit.

My mistake.. I have a 60 on my ZD zero turn, the one on my BX is the 54P. I believe 396612 is the correct blade for yours.
