Hour meter stopped working. Tach works fine. Hour meter must be electrical. Anyone have schematics of meter panel, or other advice?
The temp and fuel are the opposite side - did you have the face off I guess?
Did the black round nubs break off with the orange pointer, or just the orange indicator break? If the nubs and pointer broke get some clock hands and silicone them might work - silicone would be less likely to come loose with the vibrations.
If just the orange pointer broke off I would either silicone the clock hands on the nubs, or paint or scribe white or orange line across the nubs so you can see the general temp and fuel level - it would be better than nothing.
Oh unless you remember what the fuel gauge read, fill the tank and put the pointer on F!
Yeah, I had the face off and laid the cluster face down. The broken off ends I found but they broke in half again, just trying to glue them on. Just about 1/4 inch or so of the dial is left on the hub. Just enough make me think the tooth pick idea might work. The silicone may be better that the jb weld at that.
Nope. It's mechanical. I lubed it up a bit and it seems to be working. Problem is, I seem to
have broken the fuel and temp pointers off, just from laying it down.
How do you like your B21? I'm looking for a small TLB and there is one on CL with only 700 hrs.
