KY Missing Tractor

Just saw this article stolen JD 5083E found in Kentucky. Thought I would post it in case somebody recognizes it.

I agree. Do not know why our county doesn't repaint or at least paint a sign on them. They just took delivery on 12, big New Holland, cabs for right of way mowing and there's not a single mark on them to make them easy to spot if stolen.

Plus a lot of that lovely iron is left sitting out beside the road overnight, tempting joy riders.

Looks like the whitley co worker got p***** and went home, or he or she got kidnapped. There is more to this little story, don't think it was stolen at all.
Who in there right mine would take a tractor with a side mower on it ?
