New Kubota RTV400 with only 7 hours. Takes half throttle to get moving, top speed is maybe 10 MPH. It seems like the brake is on, let off the gas and i'm into the steering wheel. I can't push the vehicle in neutral. Local dealer has been great and will be picking it up to evaluate further. I simply wanted to see if anyone has had similar experience or suggestion. Thanks.

the rear brakes may be dragging. Try raising the rear wheels, then attempt to turn them by hand. They should turn pretty easily. I have seen a few of them 400's and 500's that had parking brakes misadjusted. And several with smoked rear brakes because of it-right from Kubota. Was never a fan of the 400 and definitely not the 500 due to it's complexity. But they seem to hold up pretty good.

Glad that it worked out for you. I bought a 500 4 years ago, I've got 650 hours on it and use it to plow my 400ft driveway in upstate NY and it's been trouble free so far. Ain't fast or pretty but it does everything I as it too.

Really disappointing to see new equipment going to customers with such an obvious problem that should have been adjusted prior to delivery. A good dealer of any brand will take pride in his product and serving his customers - and will go out of his way to make sure new equipment is working 100% before being turned over to the customer. Back in the day, the word would get out in rural communities if a dealer didn't do this. Hope you had an opportunity to make that point - in a friendly way of course - to someone in management at your dealer.
