DK45 HST front end lube change problem

I was finishing my 50 hour service today and it was changing the lube on the front end. Left side drained fine as did the center axle section. On the right side it dripped out. Took a look into the drain hole and saw what looked like the side of the bearing race. I called my dealer and explained what was going on. I spoke to the service manager and he thinks what I was seeing was the bearing race and thought it may have been put in wrong. I'm thinking there may be a notch or other provision on the race for the lube to drain. Anyone else ever have or hear of this?

Thanks for the link. I never have any luck doing searches. Sounds like others have just let it go and lived with it. I'm not going to live with it. Warranty will cover it so it's getting fixed.

The Google search box (in black bar at top of page) seems to work better than the built-in TBN search function. This box searches for key words in all TBN posts so include "kioti" in the key words.
