CRUNCHING REAR HUB?

Hey folks!

my international 674 is going well... but!

there is a grinding sound from the left rear hub... im thinking that its the
wheel bearing... new to tractors and before i go getting wheel off to inspect
id would appreciate if anyone has had this type of issue and how they solved
it?

i have been looking online and cant find international 674 rear wheel hub for sale!

Check to make sure the wheel rim bolts are good and tight. Hopefully that's what it is, and not a bearing going out.

+1. Check rim-to-disc AND disc-to-hub.

hey folks

thanks very much for the replies!

im going to get the tractor jacked up and on blocks in the morning and start investigating!

if it is the bearing gone is this the bearing i would be looking for?

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

That bearing has a 21MM I.D. A rear axle bearing for your tractor is much larger. Forget the bearing until you check the wheel.

hey folks

i have the wheel off... the nuts came loose by just standing on the rachet and a wee bounce
thought that it would be much harder but they were tight... there is a little in and out play when i pull/push the disc

forgive my ignorance on this but i cant see how to get disc off to expose hub!

again thanks very much for the help... its much appreciated

PS im picking up an international front loader tomorrow
