Such a small item on a tractor but in July during hay season......I have a JD 5075e and priced a canopy from the local JD dealer. They are "proud" of their product. Any ideas on good manufacturers other than JD?
Thanks.

Welcome aboard. If my concern was sun for a few months per year, I'd be looking for a cloth top something like those below. It could be easy on and off and the light weight would eliminate the need for heavy duty structure.

Covey My Tractor was one of the sites that seemed to have the product that would be sufficient. Added note.....not just sun protection but also about 4 months of snow plowing in the winter. Nice to stay dry.
Thanks for your assistance.

I'm thinking of just putting one together using parts from these guys (note that all I need is sun shade): mpcanopies.com

My tractor parks in the garage, so I need to lower the ROPS. Thought is that using these parts I can make it easily lift off / lift on. Total cost (soft top) will be under $75.

Dave, these umbrella units are what I use on my older non ROP tractors. They have worked very well over the years. As far as the fiberglass units, not that hard to flip the ROPS over even with the canopy on. I did this for a couple of years on my 75hp tractor before I got a taller place to park it. ;)
