m59 reverse not working just barely moving backwards . Tried checking linkage everything seemed to be hooked up. Don't hear any bad grinding hoping to be electrical. Anyone have problems with these Thx

Is it problem with the machine getting hot? I don't get the reference there.

It could be as simple as the auto-throttle cable that is actuated by the forward/reverse foot pedal. Mine broke last summer and yours might need attention. If not that one, maybe one of the others that connect to the F/R pedal. It's kind of tricky to see the cables; requires crawling under that side of the machine.
After finding which one was needed I ordered a new cable from Messicks (decent price & quick shipping). It took an hour to install it. Space is tight where the cable runs. I taped one end of the new cable to the disconnected end of the old one and pulled the new one into position that way.
