Had the new B2650 delivered on Wed. Dealer showed me how to take the hoe on and off.
After he left I noticed some hyd. fluid on the plate below the controls of the hoe. Upon looking closer I saw a drip from the little hyd. contol box. I did manage to get a wrench in there but is extremely tight in there. When just using the fel seemed had stopped. When used the hoe it started to drip again?
It was dark so will try check it out again today. Any suggestions or things to be careful with?

So I take it that you have a used unit. I have had a few leaks occur on my BH77 valve control unit. I suggest you wipe down the complete valve unit as best you can and try to locate exactly where the fluid is eminating from. The location of the unit with all the connections makes for awkward diagnosis. Don't forget the top of the unit where the controls are. Once the leak is located, I may be able to help. C.

No it is a New machine... It was coming from the upper valves 2nd from right... has yellow on it I think.
The wife and myself have been using the hoe for about 4-5hrs now and it looks like even the weeping has stopped now... but I did have to get a wrench on a few times and not sure about over tightening... told the dealer that I would investigate this weekend as we just had it delivered on Wed.
Seems like it is ok now but am always concerned about a leak with a brand new machine and new to the hydraulics system. Is there an O ring in that connection or more like a brake line?
It sure is a pain to get a wrench in there... Just dug out a couple small cottenwoods trees and it does work like a hot ****... just not sure who will be on it more the wife or me?? lol

I misled you a bit...I have an older BH75. If I understand correctly, the leak is where a hyd hose connects into the valve assembly. I'm no hydraulic expert by any means but is sounds like a loose or defective fitting. I don't think it's an o-ring issue since those fittings are seated together. I think it's just a matter of giving it a bit of torque after they become seated. You can also re and re the the line next to it in order to adequately get the wrench on it. Then again, if you are not much into attempting to deal with this pesky issue, it's a good opportunity to find out what your dealer is really made of.C
