TYM 233 HST
Hello, I am in Johnson City TN. I recently bought a used TYM 233 HST from a private owner with less than 100 hrs, FEL and belly mower $10,000.

The owners manual is lacking information about installing and removing belly mower. Any pointers or techniques for this would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to obtain a full owners manual for my TMB60SH from Dennis at Tractors on the Creek in Fairfield NC - he has been very helpful in learning about my TYM 233 Tractor. http://www.tractorsonthecreek.com/

I have the belly mower for my t233. It is a pain to take on and off, so much so that i have left it off for a couple seasons now. As far as tips, park the tractor on a hard surface, level concrete or paved is very helpful. The rear deck wheels have a cross drilled hole to rotate them so you can slide it out from the side easier. I used some bailing wire to tie up the deck lift cylinders when the deck is removed. There is very little clearance under the deck even when in the raised position, when you are doing tractor duties you may find it is better to remove the mowing deck or risk damaging it. The shaft of the deck wheels are easy to bend, rotate the brackets so the maximum amount of the shaft is supported. Hope that helps!

Thank you all for the information. I was able to remove the belly mower successfully. I did remove the lift cylinders as well to prevent damage. I recently bought property that is overgrown and have been knocking it down, as a result the belly mower did take a beating and has some minor damage. I'll let you know how it goes when I put the mower back on.
