The start of a much needed paint job

Here's an old picture probably from 83-89 of my great uncle emmer plowing his driveway in Barkhamsted ct.

Here's a little history on the tractor it. Was purchased in 1983 by my great uncle after retiring from his landscaping business (Molly stark nursery) in Vermont he purchased this at pinnacle view equitment in 1983 for his personal tractor he then brought it too ct when he moved. It's hard to believe it was ever new for me!

My dad's other tractor a 81 b7100 with a b670 backhoe and b219 loader was my great uncle from above post he used it with his nursery business he bought it from kubota in this setup


Sorry no updates my dad and I have decided we may get a spray gun going and spray the whole tractor so it all gets done

Been a while to be exact about 5months since I've been on tractor bynet
As u can imagine the painting has gone on hold for the winter.
How ever I plan to spray the hood and fenders this spring if I get ambitious I also might spray the 3pt hitch and transmission housing


I have a few questions though:

1 does anyone know if I can get l235dt decals direct from kubota ?
2 on this tractor can I take the loader off and just connect the hydraulic lines to each other?
3 can I order new headlights and glass for the hood?

I would look at Messicks and see if the decals and parts you need are available.

What diameter are the headlights? You may be able to retrofit LED worklights in place of the headlights.

Thanks I'll try medics and I may look into the lights I just go a new Napa battery today 725 cca at 0 degrees played a little in the
Snow we sure have a lot pushing back for the storm on Sunday ( mass conn vt and no I think)

I painted the top of the hood a couple weeks back
Its been a while school got bust and my job on the farm was hectic and consuming
