3PT Down Pressure

Not only would I like to see a picture of this mythical "John Deere 6350" but I'd also like to see a 5 shank sub-soiler being driven 3-4' deep while stationary in any thing but a swamp.

MAybe thats the new deere dozer that is 6x's larger than the 1050k?

That would put it around 600,000 lbs. Shouldnt have any issues with 5 shanks, even through concrete:laughing:

Yeah, but it wasn't made 18 years ago anyway - sounds like our angry friend is a better "keyboard farmer" than he wants to admit... Steve (shoveling cow crap since LOOOONG before Al Gore thought of the internet:D)

I have a big cat D8 with rear rippers with down pressure, does that count? :)

IF the hitching mechanism has 3 points of attachment, then it sure does:thumbsup:

Bad news , D8s have four link ripper. How much weight would it take to sink 5 rippers. More than any tractor I know of has.

Down pressure is used with some agricultural implements that don't want to stay down. But like CalG said draft control is most usefull when using a plow or ripper. ISZ
