Just got done doing a lot of snow work with my J2023. I bought it at the end of winter last year and haven't had a snow until today. We got a little of 12" and the 2023 worked like a mule. Only problem was the snow getting so thick and high that it would almost high center. Never ran out of power once. I used the bucket on float to push the biggest atuff that hadn't been packed and then i used my grader blade to dig into the packed snow to get it moved away. This machine is definitely a work horse.

I think its on TBN's end. Numerous problems uploading pics the past few days. I find I can upload a pic I've uploaded before but not a new pic.

I'll try to upload them to hosting site and use the IMG code. Hang in there.

That should keep away any cabin fever/winter blues...looks like snow drifting could give you more seat time tho.

I think I put 3 hours on the machine today. Not to mention I spent time 4-wheeling in my Rhino and the temp never got above 20 degrees today. I did all of my "playing" today so I think I'll take it easy tomorrow. Really can't say enough good things about my little tractor. This was the first year for working in the snow with: 1) a front bucket and 2) hydrostatic transmission. The last snow I was using my John Deere 750 and switching gears constantly was a PITA! Not to mention constantly having to look over my shoulder because all I had was a grader blade. Now I can switch from forward to reverse instantly and without using any hands and I can move snow in the front and the rear, and sometimes even both at the same time! I've decided that gear tractors have their place in the fields, but that's about the only place. I won't have a geared tractor ever again on this property!

So it was YOU who got all my snow! [I am across the river and north a tad in Monroe county, IL]
We had less than 4 inches.

Apparently so. We got right about 12" at my house.

Have you got chains on your rig or just the fluid in the tires? That is a great pic. Darn near got me convinced to go by one!

Just fluid in the rear tires. I actually just finished up with another neighbor's driveway. This was a big step up from my old John Deere 750.

We got another 9 inches of snow so I put the 2023 to work again. I've found a perfect system for the snow. I use my front bucket on "float" to push the majority and I run my rear blade at the same time to scrape the last couple inches and the stuff that's packed. Works great that way! I keep the big pile up front and use the blade to dig in on the back when the biggest part of the snow is gone.

One thing I would like to do is trade my current 5ft rear blade for a 6ft. The 5ft is too light I think.
