Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

As a comparison I have this one from Home Depot I've mixed 400+ bags of cement and it's still going strong. It holds 2 - 80 pound bags. Proforce 1/2 HP Portable Cement Mixer-105890DPT - The Home Depot The Harbor Freight one looks like it would hold more and it cost less.

Don;

Have a 20%. Coupon so, $160. Worth a try. Will post results. The wheels look to be crappy but, have some wider pneumatic wheel / tires that should fit.

Thanks!

Earlier and I think in this thread there was a discussion of this mixer and a lot of posts. You could search for it if you wanted.

I am looking at the HF cement mixer. Cement Mixer - 3-1/2 Cubic Ft. Cement Mixer

The reviews seem to be pretty positive. Have a small job to do (2-3 bags of quickcrete) but, always seem to have small jobs that I do with a wheelbarrow.

Any experiences out there?

Thanks!

Yea, we discussed this mixer here before, it is a big thumbs up, or for this thread title, a big don't suck. I have had one for about 7 years, occasional use, never a problem. Well, other than the motor was DOA, but the local store replaced it, no problem. The wheels are very narrow, so they are awful in loose dirt. I also added wheelbarrow type handles to make it easier to move. I leave it outside for days when I am using it, it has never rusted.

Thanks for the input. Think I will pick one up at the end of the week.

There are too many pages to read through so forgive me if this has been brought up already. Does anyone have any input on the HF gas power log splitter? My favorite HF item are their magnetic nut/bolt holders, 4 or 6 inch.

The magnetic nut holders are great value. And, no parts to remove and refit properly!!

I like their magnetic parts dishes, too. Sometimes I wrap one in a rag and wave it over anywhere that I have been drilling metal. It sucks the shavings onto the rag. I wrap the rag around the shavings, pull it off the dish and shake the rag into a trash can.

Great idea, think I'll borrow it.
I have the large 12" X 12" tray and that should work on my press drill just fine.

Sixdogs link above shows HF, but clicking it took me to ... [a warning]
MCafee reports that 100% of the reports to Mcafee from users describe emjcd as virus or unwanted popups.

Check your computer for malware, the link goes to http://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lb-capacity-dual-wheel-swing-back-boat-trailer-jack-67500.html for me, NOT to the site you linked.
Nope. I got a link to a just good enough website for just good enough tools!
No. I got right to the HF site that Aaron mentioned.
I had no issues either.
Thanks guys for the replies. Instead of cluttering up this HF thread I started a new thread about this problem over in the Related Topics forum.
Help with a Redirect Virus

And I'm happy to report that after I left the home pc and came out here to the ranch this afternoon, I don't see the problem here. (Same ISP, different DSL account, separate laptop that stays at the ranch.) I'll continue this topic over in that new thread.

Again, Thanks!
