Both teams played well enough to win. One stupid play call and one gutsy interception made the difference in who won. 377 yards NE, 396 yards SEA. Great game. Hope there is a rematch next year! May have been the best Super Bowl ever.

The GoDaddy ad was aired early on the Today show and was slammed big time immediately. The comment was made that it was an ad intended to be controversial. I guess they get more name recognition that way.
GoDaddy and Carl's Junior have both posted ads they knew would be banned, and then went viral on Youtube. For a whole lot less than the SuperBowl slot.

Hated to see the deflategate cheaters win. The whole Seahawk's coaching staff should be immediately fired for the stupidest play on NFL history! :confused2:
Coming from the fan of a team whose coach had a national college championship revoked, this is an interesting comment.

Saw a poll on the Seattle Times website and 46% of respondents thought this team was a "disappointment" because they didn't repeat. Wow.

I have an NFL game ball I inflated to 10.5 PSI and carried it around for a couple of days. I asked people to guess if it was overinflated, underinflated, or in spec. Most people guessed in spec or over: you can barely push the ball in with your thumb.

Note that this whole deal came about from a pass that Brady threw that was intercepted: so Brady wanted interceptions? I think in the end they're going to find out that this was Irsay being a poor loser - and Irsay is anything but popular with the other owners. The fact that Robert Kraft, arguably Goodell's strongest supporter, has called for a public apology by the league should tell you where this is going. The teams heating balls earlier in the season were told "Don't do that, The End."

I've been a Patriots fan for a long time. No one complained about the Patriots when they were losers.

Exactly, How many wins did Carroll have in 2005 while head coach at USC? 0. How can that be? Search it.

Brady won a new truck (Chevy Colorado) as MVP, He's announced he wants to give it to Butler.

"I'd love to [give Malcolm the truck]," Brady said on Boston sports radio station WEEI. "We're going to figure out how to make that happen."

Butler, an undrafted rookie out of West Alabama, became the Patriots' unlikely hero when he made the Super Bowl-winning interception on a Russell Wilson pass intended for Ricardo Lockette at the 1-yard line with 20 seconds remaining in the Patriots' 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

... when the Giants took the perfect season away from the Pats and then beat them again a few years later.

Ah yes... seems like a lifetime ago to Giant's fans 'ay?

I'm one of a tiny minority that doesn't think the last play call was that bad. Had it worked the announcers-- instead of carrying on about how terrible a call it was-- would have been saying something like: "WOW-- great call! EVERYONE assumed they were going to run the ball and that pass caught the defense totally unprepared. Great call!".

Yup, no question.

It goes to show that you need to play all 60 minutes. The Pats never gave up and it's a testament to the coaching staff.
