I waiting until tomorrow to plow out my property and the neighbors, I want to have all the snow down, I don't care to do it twice. What do you guys do?

If your equipment is big enough, wait. I usually wait unless a family member needs to get out and they think they can't make it.

I did my drive cause it was a wet heavy snow and its supposed to get very cold tonight. Will turn slush to ice with more snow on top. No thank you.

I'm with Murphy: did mine other day when it warmed up and got slushy but had left it only 3/4 done & what I left froze solid... I had to get into the barn with the car and the left over bumps made it near impossible so used tractor to blade it smoother & drove over it. Then hooked very corner of the pad and snapped the 3pt sway link off for 2nd time (weld held from first time when I hit a stump but broke at threads this time :( Got to fix that now (maybe tomorrow at work I can fire up the grinder and prep it all up then weld it w 7018 like last time going to have a full weld bolt at this rate..

Went out and plowed when there was a break in the snow fall. Now it is freezing rain/rain and the drive is covered with ice. Oh well it will melt sometime.

I usually go out in the middle of a storm or after we get about 6-8" and then again at the end.

Got back from a weekend trip up north and decided to clear the drive because there was already 6 or 8 inches on it. I'll have to go out before work in the morning and do it again. Usually I just wait but I had to move some vehicles around the drive so why not park them on a cleared off spot. Plus I think I just needed some seat time 😃

We have at least 14 inches of the white stuff south of Jackson Mi.Not including the blowing and drifting.IMHO stay on it early less wear and tear on your equipment.

I usually do it when I get home from plowing at work. This means that I do it when it's finished snowing but if I were home I would try to plow every 4 inches or so in the bigger storms. Slides off the blade easier and doesn't make the rear end slide as much like the heavy deep snow does.
