Well it's a good feeling to fix something that was going to be thrown away.

A few days ago I broke the pipe off my foam gun.
Decided I could fix it by coiling wire over the pipe and binding it back to the body, with expoxy resin between each turn of wire.
Worked a treat, except ...

Next morning, my dear wife says "whats this" pointing to the top of the range cooker.
I'd left the foam gun on a piece of aluminium foil on top of the range to cure. A drop of expoxy had come off, somehow missed the foil below and is now stuck real good to the enamel surface.:duh:
Not sure how long it will be before I'm released from the dog house.

11 degrees right now. The high will be 37 and clear. Maybe I can get rid of some of the ice on the driveway today...

I do have to drop by the dealer this morning. They should have the backhoe at the dealer and, hopefully, on the tractor. It's an implement I probably won't use much, but I do want to ensure it works correctly. If every thing is in order, I'll do the paperwork today.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 58ｰ with partly cloudy skies. Heading to 77ｰ with mostly sunny skies and a good north wind. My waxing arm has started giving me pains. May just sit on the patio today.
Drew, (Mr. Perfect Paint) mud will disappear if tractor is left outside when it rains.
Eric, better get that shop built soon.

Everything is soggy here after 1.2 inches of 34 degree rain. Odd forecast: get up to 40 by 1pm and start snowing.

HeeYAH. The weekend is here and I am gonna have some beer! Not sure what the weather is suppose to do. It was a mix of everything last night, and this AM is warmer than usual and wet. May help someone move today, not sure about road spray on furniture though. We shall see. Have a good weekend all.

Roy are you keeping your 4400 or trading it in?

Assuming this transaction does come to pass, I'll be trading the 4400. I paid $13,000 for it (came with an 84" RFM too, BTW) four years ago. The trade-in value is $11600...not much loss.
It's a great tractor and I never really expected to replace it...but this cold weather in VT is beating me to death. I think it was Nietzsche who said "That which does not kill us makes us stronger". I must be getting pretty **** strong!
The doors and windows come off too, for warmer weather use...that will be nice.

You know, when I bought my first tractor, a Deere 670 (15 years ago), my wife commented "Oh boy! It's got a bucket...easier to bury you" (speaking to me). Of course, I smugly thought "heck, can't dig with a loader!" Well, this one has a 448 backhoe....hmmm, might be a problem...
