Txdon, sounds like you had a productive day. My boss's dad loves repairing stuff so much, he will break something if he has too. Maybe you are leaning in that direction.

found out tonight my "free" earthlink email (I paid them for dialup access many years, and when dialup went away, they transitioned the email accounts to free) was cancelled. They are making them pay accounts now. They claimed they sent notices, but I have all my emails in outlook, and I can't find any notice. I have plenty of other email accounts, but kept this one because it had good spam filtering, and it's tied to a lot of accounts. now I have to change all these accounts to a new email. What a PITA.

TXdon, hope your breaking days are over, it's a pain to be working on things and have things break.

starting to snow here.

Hope your forecast is better than mine. Last night they said less than an inch. At 4:30pm they said an inch. We now have 3+ inches and its still snowing. Laughing:0. But our biggest snows happen between 32 and 34 degrees. It's currently 33. Guess I will be plowing in the morning. Unless things really warm up. Bale spear is on so that means a swap to grader blade.

24F. Mostly cloudy today with a breeze. 16F tonight. The storm must be tracking more inland, now we have 1-3 inches of snow forecast tomorrow. Heavier snow along the coast, 6-10 inches in the Bar Harbor/Acadia NP area.

We are still catching a few passing showers. The rainfall total is up to 2.35 inches, but looks like there isn't too much more in the Gulf. A cold windy day forecast for tomorrow. 56F/34F with 15mph WNW winds. Luckily I will be at work with lots of cowgirls in the building. We are having the Barrel Racer's awards banquet. Can you image all the pink cowboy boots?

2" to 4" around me often means either 1/4" or way more than 4". I've been around since they drew the weather maps on a chalkboard and you would think modern forecasting methods would be a little more accurate.

good morning all, a warm 50 degrees here in on and off rain, radar shows a lot more stormy weather working its way through, but then clearing later today.
Either I slept happily through it (first night in my "own bed" last night) or it never rained that hard.
Headed out to supermarket first thing, am curious to see how my mudfest looks at the end of the lane.
