Looking at the pic of the aftermarket buddy seat and it looks like it would be hard get past the passenger without unloading the kid. I don't know what size tractor that was but I can get in and out of the Deere with the Grand Kid still Buckled in.
This is a hole different subject but the park brake on the Deere is all some The parking brake on my New Holland 4.75 was terrible you had to rock the tractor to get it to go in. Sometimes you don't want to move the tractor 2inches. I wander what Kubota is doing for a park brake?

It was an M8560 and I agree the John Deere's is better, I was only pointing out that it can be done, no where near enough room in our M8540. If a buddy seat is a priority John Deere's is the way to go, I could be happy with either. Our old Case had a much larger cab, but it's not an issue for me and I prefer the narrower profile in our woods.

Yes, but now Massey Ferguson is a product of agco which includes fendt, challenger, massey and those are the main ones. I am not saying others have not been here since the start, I am saying John Deere is a one named brand, the only by product that is included with them is Frontier. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

There are other brand names that JD has utilized over the yrs such as Zetor, Yanmar & Tonutti(704 & 705 wheel rakes) to name a few plus I think JD has farmed out some of their FEL construction. Then we could get into L&G equipment.

No buddy seat on M8560, up coming M5.xxx series does have it, along with a bigger cab. We sell many lines of tractors, Haying is one of the things Kubota's do very well. The loaders in particular tend to be much better than you find on other tractors in that class.
