Kubota 8560 - who owns one and has put some hours on it?

Rvb, I do not have the 8560 but I do have a 3 year old 5083e. JD had a 0% for 72 months with $0 buy in plus the green machine was 1700lbs heavier from the factory bare tractor to bare tractor. That said something to me that alot of people dismiss. I also added rimguard and wheel weights and there are times I could use more weight for the loader.

I went from a 5400 JD to a Kubota 9540. No major reasons other than wanting the skid steer connect & loader arm hyd. I was pleased with both tractors & dealers. It's a toss up weather I prefer the 3 range/4sp. tranny in the JD vs. the 2 range/6sp in the Kub. My use of each tractor is not the same so a direct comparison/judgement is hard to make. I for some reason am comforted knowing that the Kub. is all Kubota, and not various components from other manufacturer's all over the world, at least this is what I understand. In the end it came down to the $$$ and a much more eager dealer. I have no regrets at all.

Before we bought our john deere 5083e last year, we went and looked at the new Kubota 9960. To be honest, my father and I weren't impressed. Due to the power steering cylinders, toolbox, the transmission was not as well designed in my opinion, the cab rattled every time I hit a bump not going fast and you could SHAKE the entire dash BY HAND two inches in either direction. The salesman asked if we wanted him to go get the papers ready and we told him he could but it would be a waste of his time. The John Deere was less money and in my opinion is a far better purchase. Kubota seems to be putting their foot in the door for agriculture but are still new to it, where John Deere is the only company that has been in it since the start under one company, there is a reason for that.

Massey-Ferguson has been in ag tractors since the beginning too.

I always have a grand kid with me. Now you can add the buddy seat two the JD 5085e and I like Green, always felt like a trader when I had Kubota's and New Holland's just sometimes went for the lower price.

Yes, but now Massey Ferguson is a product of agco which includes fendt, challenger, massey and those are the main ones. I am not saying others have not been here since the start, I am saying John Deere is a one named brand, the only by product that is included with them is Frontier. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
