Kubota M6800 and L3450
I put a snow plow on the front of a Kubota L3450. It angles on hydraulics.
I attached it to the back remote hydraulic with hoses going forward to the quicktach and plow.
It will rotate one way but not the other. When I switch hoses, it rotates the other way.
There is a lot of pressure on the hose in which the hydraulic fluid should be returning when the plow does not change angle.
I know the hydraulic fluid comes out of both hoses with good force but strongly suspect the return is not functioning on one side.
What do I do next...? thanks, Vermontfarmer

You do have a factory single spool remote kit right? as in you have to hook ups and the lever will engage in a forward or back position?

yes.
I took off the connections at the snowplow itself (unscrewed them) and the positive pressure on both sides was fine.
Definitely seems to be a problem with the return on one side.

What lifts the blade up and down? Is this a new piece of equipment?

the quick attach bracket up front puts the snowplow where the bucket has been
the bucket controls are the same so we can lift the plow and even tilt it forward or back if we want -- same as we could the bucket
the side angle hydraulic hoses comes off the two take-offs or plug ins which are on the back of the tractor -- for log splitter or hay rake lifting, usually.
thanks-

If a DA hyd component will not operate using a DA valve, it is usually a QD blocking the flow.

You did say the both work ports had good flow, correct.

If you plug a gage in the QD going to the cyl, you will see if there is pressure on both work ports.

thanks
please tell me what DA and QD mean.
both work ports have good flow going out.
one port is handling the flow coming in and the other is not...?
thanks again. rc

what type of control are you using between the tractor's rear ports and the plow?

no controls between the tractors rear ports and the plow.
the control on the tractor for the rear ports makes the plow angle one way (and not the other)
tnx

How many hoses on the tractor valve ? which go to the QD's and where do the others go? Return flow may be blocked by the plumbing depending on the attachment(s) it was set up for.
