I thought I would start a thread, as a place to post some game camera, and food plot pictures. Here are a few of mine. I have clover plots with salt stumps in and around them.

I gave up on food plots, because they turned into slaughter zones for the wolves. The wolves knew the deer would go eat there, so they would check the food plots numerous times a day. I had so many wolf pics, I didn't even hunt or buy a deer license.

We don't have wolves but, there are coyotes and bobcats. So far they haven't been an issue.

Have you tried molasses mineral block?

No I have not. So far I have put out mineral blocks from tractor supply and salt. I get the salt from a pretzel factory ( the bears love the burnt pretzels). I also have 18 acres or so of soybeans that they love as well.

Great pictures. Plush food plots and healthy deer. Where are you located?

The wife and I put in a food plot over our drain field. The septic company that installed our new septic and drainfield recommended to put in a food plot as I already had deer stands in the area.

The property is outside of Mcveytown, PA in Mifflin County.

I was going to put some turnips in. I saw the ad in Rural King this week. I am going to have to read the directions. Got a old Howard tiller, and I believe I will enjoy it as much as the deer.

Mine was mostly for dove hunting, plus it feeds deer. Its only half an acre, broadcast with sunflowers, and planted with a garden seeder. Seven year old son spread the sunflowers, I did the corn. I gave my five year old son a jar of leftover dried beans to plant. He dumped a quart of seed in two square feet.
I hunted it for about an hour, got four doves. Next week is deer season, so thats the end of doves for me!

Nice deer. I have planted a few acres of wheat, oats, and rye along with a couple of spots of trophy radishes.

Only little guys showing up so far

I haven't checked my camera yet but haven't seen any tracks in my plot yet. I planted it a couple of weeks ago and it's just starting to come up. Season opener is in November, so I'm still hopeful that they will find it.

Here are a few more from my plots. Most of my bigger bucks are only coming in after dark now. The one picture with the bear is after he messed with the camera.

Have the logs kept the hogs out?

Yes, but it's still new. They have been tearing up the grass along the shore of the pond, but none have been in to eat the corn. No deer have eaten it either, just squirrels, raccoons and birds.

I planted five acres of soybeans this spring, but the deer ate it down to the ground. Plan now is to have farmer plant about 35 acres for me.

I've been seeing some pictures of nice bucks on the game cams, but they're all nocturnal.
