Thanks everyone who replied. I decided on the L47/60. Couldn't believe how quite it is inside the cab at full throttle. Delivery a week from today!

Congrats! I went with a 5240 after looking at the 4240 and haven't regretted the decision once, in my opinion going up in horsepower was a wise choice. Be sure to post some pics when you get it.

All new tractors are being priced out of sight! I've been buying used ones here lately and even though it takes a bit of work looking around to find what I want for the price I'll pay, it's worth it in the end. I doubt I'll ever own a "new" tractor in my lifetime ever again just because they've become too expensive. Now granted, used isn't cheap but still affordable somewhat. Lot of nice used tractors out there with plenty of life looking for good homes and I'm doing my part to find them a place in my barn

I looked for 2 months but just kept coming up empty in trying to find a decent tractor that suited my needs that 1.) Wasn't a POS or 2.) Priced very close to a new tractor. So I finally gave up and drove to the dealer today to place my order. Spent more than I wanted to, but in the end, I'll have exactly what not only what I want, but also what I need.

It seems like the used ones are so closely priced to the new ones, you are sometimes further ahead buying new, especially if you are going to finance it. Plus you know exactly what you are getting. The L4060 is way more then I need, but it's what I wanted. The B26 would have been perfect for me, but the L4060 has the edge that I want along with the bells and whistles. I'm not getting any younger. When I bought my L3800 a few years back, I wanted the Grand L, but did want to spend the money. So here I am now spending the money.
