Kubota BX25D
Am looking to buy a bx25. If I get the quick attach for the loader arms, will the kubota forks (k9184) go on the quick attach or do these forks need a sub-frame? Thanks.

The forks go on the QA. You will need the carrier(basically the frame for the forks), forks themselfs and the QA. The QA is great for quickly changing from bucket to forks or grapple or snow blade. Well worth the price.

Here's a pic I saved from another post a while back. Doesn't really show the QA, but you can just barely see the QA pin at the end of the left-side FEL arm. The forks are priced separate from the frame since you can buy 2,3, or 4 of them I guess though almost everyone gets just two I would imagine.

Well, I took the plunge! Got the QA and forks. I'm very happy with my choice. Thanks for the help.

Congrat's. Please post a pic of the forks mounted when you get a chance. While I have the FEL quick hitch for the Landpride Grapple, I don't have the forks, but would love to get them eventually.

I'll post a pic ASAP, probably on Sat when I have time to mess with it.

Holy smokes, do those ever push the lift points far way from the pins! I wonder what the lift capacity is with that setup?

Not really. Measured the change in the pin locations on my QA and I think it's 3" or 3.5", can't recall exactly. If you see the Kubota QA in person you realize they did as good a job as they could to minimize the movement of the pin location. I really didn't notice much change in my FEL capability after getting the QA. Moved a lot of snow and other material with no issues. I did recently check and adjust the pressure on my BX25 to a bit over spec just "in case". I don't have the forks (yet at least) so I can't comment on what impact it has on their capability, but you can't use the Kubota forks without the QA so it would be moot anyway.

ru499 - nice pic's. Thanks for posting them. Forks are on my "want" list for sure.

I think I've probably used the forks as much as the front bucket! Great for picking up brush.

Now all you need is the Landpride grapple! Great for picking up brush. :D
